Minutes:
City Transit staff member shared a route redesign that came about due to researching what serves the community. There will be a bus route from North Lawrence that will go out west with no transfer needed. North Lawrence will be connected through route 6 to grocery stores and all the way to LMH West.
Fare free are until October and may go on longer. They are still working on a central depot. Sunday bus service has been set up for people through an app that you will use google maps. A night line will also be an option.

Station 1 First Responders presented
Station 1 serves the North Lawrence area and it is the closest station to the North Lawrence neighborhood. Neighbors present spoke highly of the service that the fire department has provided to the neighbors.
It was shared that all fire trucks have paramedics onboard.
The Fire Department has the capability to shut down a railway line to ensure that their trucks can get to a home in the event of an emergency.
Fire Department has a relationship with ICL in order to protect and serve the neighbors.
Ted voiced to make sure when a parade occurs keep a fire truck over here for emergencies due to congestion.
Another neighbor was stating that they have requested a small station in North Lawrence.

Kevin Elliott-Snow announced that there is a neighborhood clean-up 6/17/2023. All volunteers to meet at the boat ramp at 10am.
